Tracer, scientific research and instrument manufacturing company, and Littel- fuse, Des Plaines, manufacturer of products have announced the closing or the plan of reorganization and agreement by which Tracor, has acquired substantially all of the assets and properties of Littelfuse, Inc. The transaction involved the delivery of one share of Tracor, 75 cent cumulative convertible voting preferred stock for each two snares of Littel- fuse, common stock.

Littelfuse, which will function as a Tracor subsidiary, is headed by Thomas M. Blake, chairman of the board, and Jack D. Hughes, president. Littelfuse, is engaged in the development and manufacture of prod- ucts that are used for circuit protection and control that serve the national defense, home and industry. It serves the aerospace, aircraft, business machines, communications, computer, defense, instrumentation, marine, radio, television and related industries.

Established in Des Plaines, in 1938, Littelfuse, is headquartered at 800 E. Northwest Highway. It also has a new plant facility in Centralia, HI. Tracor, headquartered in Austin, has branches in nine states and the District of Columbia. It does scientific research in all of the disciplines and manufactures sophisticated analytical, industrial and medical instruments.

N. GOORLEY J. Angus Heads Top Sales Group John J. Angus, 101 S. Fernandez Arlington Heights, was elected 1988-69 president of the Conquistadores, the top-level salesmen of Friden, during the business machine firm's 18th annual sales convention.

Friden is a division of The Singer Co. Angus, a 28-year Friden veteran, heads the Office Products Division in Chicago. His sales performance has put him in the Conquistador class 13 times. Angus started with Friden as a service manager in his native Hartford, Conn. He began selling in 1945, moved up to sales manager in 1950, and became the Waterbury, Conn, manager in 1953.

He has been in Chicago since 1958, was nominated as Manager of the Year in 1965, and has been active in civic and professional groups. Kramer began his career in Teletype's training organization a an industrial 'relations investigator in 1965. He became a labor relations associate in 1966.
