(cw OBITUARIES Robert E. Handcock Services were held July 5 in Lutheran church of the Holy Spirit, Elk Grove, for Robert E. Handcock, 80 Woodcrest, Elk Grove Village. Rev. Martin officiated and interment was in Memorial Estates, Melrose Park.

Mr. Handcock was born in Montreal, Canada, July 12, 1905 and died in his home July 1. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert B. He leaves his wife, Edith, nee Reed; a brother, Herbert R. of Regina, Canada; a sister, Rita McDowell of Glen Ellyn; his mother, Mrs.

Edith Handcock of Winnipeg, Canada; and 4 grandchildren. Ernest S. Phar Rev. O. Jordan officiated at services held July 5 in the Oehler chapel, Des Plaines, for Ernest S.

Phar, 125 Morrison, Mt. Prospect. Interment was in Ridgewood cemetery. He was born in Goodwins, 111. February 9, 1894 and died July 3 in his home.

Alphonsus church, for Mrs. Cornelia De Cancq, 301 E. Marion, Prospect Hts. Fr. Burke officiated with interment in Memorial Park cemetery.

She was born January 2, 1871 in Holland and died June 28 in St. Anne hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; and a daughter, the late Anna Geddis. (B-9 She leaves the following: a son, Victor G. of Prospe Heights and a daughter-in- law, Wanda.

George M. Kost Chapel services were held July 6 in the Lauterburg and Oehler chapel, Arlington for George M. Kost, 2 W. Euclid, Arlington Heights. Rev.

Paul Stumpf officiated and interment was in Arlington Heights cemetery. He was born March 12, 1894 in Chicago and died in Northwest Community hospital July 3. He leaves his wife, Lora; a son, Merlyn and a sister, Delilah, all of Arlington Hts. and three grandchildren. (B-9 Paul W.

Lobe Chapel services were held July 5 in Tharp funeral home, Palatine, for Paul W. Lobe, 119 N. Middleton, Palatine. Rev. Harold Olson officiated and interment was private.

He died in his home July 3. Mr. Lobe had been employed with Bell and HowelZ for about 20 years, prior to his retirement two years ago. He leaves his wife, Gertrude; one daughter, Mrs. Leo Hyvari; a sister-in-law, Mrs.
