Discusses Yearbook For Future Teachers "The Galahi," Galva High School yearbook, was the topic discussed by Carl Whitehouse Sr. for members of the Mildred Lapan Future Teachers of America Wednesday. Whitehouse explained how the yearbook has changed down through the years, and why various covers and paper had been used during a particular year. Morthland. Mrs. L. C. Burcky will have charge of the annual Christmas auction.

Assisting hostesses Monday included Mrs. A. C. Gathmann and Miss Fern Matson. Galvans Attend Church Services A large group of Galvans attended the Union Thanksgiving services held at the First Baptist Church Thursday morning.

The message of Thanksgiving was given by the Rev. David P. Dees, pastor of the Grace Methodist and Bishop Hill Community churches. He was assisted by pastors from other Galva churches. Purchase Residence Mr.

and Mrs. Carl E. Carlson have purchased the residence of the late Frank McCutchen at 310 NW Sixth which had recently been purchased by the late James Maginel and Mrs. Maginel. The Carlsons expect to take possession soon.

Gives Book Review Mrs. John Broeksmidt Jr, presented a book review for members of the Library Club last week during the club meeting at Galva High School. Miss Davis, sponsor, told the group that she found pins that members could decide on for the club. Announcement was made of the Library Club bake sale set for Dec. 13.
