Vernon, Texas, Sun May 18,1975 HARROLD i vol I tJ School graduating class are pictured here From left are Mike McOuff, I.anita Martin, Salutatorian Roger Raines, Valedic- led at 8 p.m Friday at Harrold Graduation Set for Friday, May 23 The live memt)ers ol the 1975 Harrold High School graduating class, their throe day senior trip to the Houston Galveston May 2-5 already behind them, will conclude the school year with graduation exercises at 8 p.m Friday, May 23, at the school auditorium Baccalaureate services were scheduled at the same location 8 p.m Sunday. May 18, with the Rev Kenneth Lyles, pastor of the Elliott Baptist Church, as principal speaker The school choir, under direction of Larry Russell of the Electra Baptist Church, will provide special music for the occasion The processional and recessional will be provided by Mrs Bill (iillis, with the invocation and benediction by the Rev Gilbert Franke, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church at Elliott Don Lamb, coordinator ol the four school Wilbarger County Plan A Cooperative Education Program will I guest speaker for commencement exercises lie will be introduced by High School Principal Ronald Brandon The Salutatory Address will be made by Roger Raines and the Valedictory by Reed Supt Jim Coulston and Board Member Clarence Clynch will present diplomas The Rev Frank will present the invocation and benediction. and Mrs Gillis will again provide the processional and recessional Addie Reed and Bruce Gillis will serve as escorts for the graduating class Jim Reed is the faculty sponsor for the class Class members, in addition to the valedictorian and salutatorian, include Mike McDuff, Lanita Martin and Thomas Gates Mrs. Hobson ihsis The Odell Community Club met in the home of Mrs.

Ovid Hobson with Mrs Charles Tyler president, calling the meeting to order Mrs Hen Gibbons led the singing, and Mrs Thrash led the club prayer Roll call was answered with a quote from the Bible. Mrs. Tom Holloway read minutes of the last meeting and gave the treasurer's report Mrs LE McConnell reported on the entertainment given at a ward at the MH-MR Center by club members Mrs. Tyler gave an account of the presentation of the Bicentennial flag to the Odell School by the club Mrs Gibbons presented the program on Fear and Meeting Faith reading scriptures from Hebrews It was announced that the next meeting will be held May 28 in the home of Mrs. A II Thrash with the program to be a demonstration of foil art by Mrs Harold Burrell Refreshments were served to Mines Tyler, A S.
