HILLIARD Prof. Hilliard Rites Sunday In Wellesley Services will be Sunday for Curtis Morrison Hilliard, 81, 23 Wall Wellesley, Simmons College professor emeritus of biology and public health, who died at Newton Wellesley Hospital on Wednesday. A memorial service will be conducted in Wellesley Hills Unitarian Church Sunday at p.m, Prof. Hilliard, born in Dorchester, attended Chauncy Hall School, graduated from Dartmouth, and also studied at Mass. Institute of Technology.

He joined the faculty of City College of New York as biology instructor in 1910 and became assistant professor of sanitary science at Purdue two years later. He came to Simmons as associate professor of the department of biology and health in 1914. He became full professor and department head in 1918, the position he held until retirement in July, 1952. Mr. Chesterton, president of the oldest manufactuer of mechanical packing in North America, received for his company in 1964 an E-forExport Award from President Lyndon Johnson. A World Coast Guard veteran, Mr. Chesterton was born in Boston and attended the Huntington School.

He was a director of te International Center of New England and a member of the New England Regional Export Expansion Council of the U.S. Dept. of Commerce. G. A. Cowdrey Rites Today In Wakefield WAKEFIELD Services for George A. Cowdrey, 95, of 15 Morningside former president and treasurer of Smith and Cowdrey, a leather firm, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Morrison funeral home.

He died Wednesday. Mr. Cowdrey was born in Stoneham and was a graduate of Bryant Stratton School and Philips Andover Academy. In 1908 became an executive with Smith and Cowdrey, dealers and importers of sheepskin and leather in Boston. He was also interested in harness horses, and was a member of the Quannapowitt Gentlemen's Driving Club.

Green Beret Pic Andreson Killed in Action MELROSE Pfc Scott Andreson, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Andreson of 28 Larabee has been killed in Vietnam, military officials notified his family yesterday. A member of the Green Berets, Pfc Andreson was killed in action at the Cambodian border where he had been stationed for one week. He had been assigned to Vietnam three weeks ago.
