20. 1945, became a regular feature writer in the Globes Sunday "Kitty," as she was later known, had a humorous touch as when she would fill in the taxpayer's name as "Sadden Grieving." Her great hobby was ani mals. She loved zoos and wrote about them and their inhabitants often. Living alone and liking it, she felt animals had many attributes that humans often lack. Her heart went out to the handicapped, whom she once helped into electronics work.

She was probably the Bay State's most inveterate "sidewalk superintendent." She would go anywhere and make the greatest of efforts to do a stoy on the construction of highways or buildings or the then-planned Highland branch the M.T.A. She was also interested in conservation, and only re cently had written a series of articles on the need for preser vat ion of Massachusetts' marsh and swamp land. She had just started her an nual vacation when she died. Lu Ann Simms Husband Dies Suddenly at 37 NEW YORK, Oct. 20 (TJPI) Loring B.

Buzzell, 37, husband of singer Lu Ann Simms, died early today in his Manhattan apartment. Police said he apparently suffered a heart attack. Buzzell, a music publisher, married Miss Simms in July, 1954, when she was at the peak of her popularity on the Arthur Godfrey television show. He also was her manager.
