HERSHEY COMMUNITY THEATER (By CADI) Harrisburg's own George Kobler singing a solo with the theater orchestra introduces a five act program in the Hershey Community Theater which is very entertaining although a little top heavy with dancing and dancers. Every act from one to five finds at least one nimble figure tripping back and forth behind the foot lights with a variety of dances which we couldn't begin to name. The advertisments don't name the acts but if you will follow closely we will endeavor to name them as announced by Mr.

Chubb, who was on the job in spite of a cold which made him a basso. Act number one Sandy Lang and Company, with Eleanor Bunting and the Penny Sisters. This is where the dancing starts. It begins with an 1873 interpretation and closes with a 1933 Sally Rand Fan dance. Nuf said.

Not quite the costumes and lighting effects are unusual and add greatly to the act. Act number two Jerry Coe and Barry To the tune of "Jericho" this duet bursts forth upon the stage with accordians wailing their loudest. The boys unfortunately wear frozen stage grins which they do not discard wnen they cast off the accordians and begin danc ing. We liked the music better than the dancing. Act number 3 Bobby Jaris and Company, in "Shoefly." Plenty of comedy and dancing in this number.

A rather pretty dance by a fair maiden became dirty when the dancer rolled on the stage and came up covered with dust. It's a bet that it won't happen tonight. The man in the seat just behind mine enjoyed this act most of all and laughed until my ear drum hurt. Act Tiber 4 Ross and Edwards in "Delirious Moments." Joe E. Brown is longer in the running when it comes to big mouths, two members of this entertaining trio have him stopped.

Lon Chaney's successor will also be found here. Of course dancing concluded the act but it was by far the best solo dance on the bill and believe it or not the young gentleman did not tap once. Act number 5 Ruth Miles and Eddie Cover Revue "The King and Queen of Adagio." The best is always last and this was no exception The revue snapped through a difficult routine with the perfect timing and percision of the Shawn dancers. The aesthetic and adagio dancers executed their numbers with grace and ease seldom achieve. The boys, in Hollywood stretched a point when they named the picture "Eight Girls in a Boat," but they knew what they were doing when they selected the girls and the music.

A good shot Dean of the girls school breaking the news. STATE (By GB) A delectable modern racketeer picture and five fast moving fantasies of the footlights (otherwise known as vaudeville) comprise, a A bill at the State Theater the last half of this week. William Gargan and Paul Hurst have a lot of fun outwitting each other in the search for a gang of fur thieves in the film "The Line Up," and the reviewer heard various expressions of opinion as to who 'stole" the picture. Some said Paul Hurst others Marion Nixon, etc. But me personal, I have kinda of a yen for them there suave villians like John Miljan, the prettiest fur thief as ever faced tne not lights of the line up.

Take it from me its a smooth little picture and any of youse guys what don't think so can step right up and take me on. You know something though? I could put that young man over in the fourth act who Ways the twelve string guitar I believe his name is Steve. All that's needed Is a nice romantic garden patio drop and some Spanish clothes salary, $1000.00 a week (adv.) No foolin', though, it's a darn shame for little Stevie to waste sucn talent rjeiore a sweet drop and in an impressed sport suit! The last act. "Music Madness" is just wnat tne program says a spontaneous side splitting episode," with emphasis on the spontaneous. In fact, the entire bill is beyond reproach except lor tne suggestion that "The Three Little SteD Children" might learn a few new routines.

You've irot to hand it to them for a name, though, don't you? tits dance act of course). State that you'll see the state ana shck to your statement you won't be sorry. It's true. Doug and Mary had better count their change. Even the Rockerf ellers couldn't stand the Roxy spending pace in New York.

The man who knows tells of one instance of Roxy's free spending of the Rockerfeller cash. The costume room needed needles. Roxy sent out and bought $600 worth enough to last three or four generations. (Since writing this, London dispatch advises that Doug denies all. He didn't need our advice.)
