10 The Pocono Record, The Stroudsburgs, Pa. I Obituaries Mrs. Odesta Walter, 86, Tannersvlle native, dies Mrs. Odesta May Walter, 8G, died in her home, Star Route, Stroudshurg, Thursday. She was born in Tannersville, a daughter of the late Jackson and Sarah Krceland Smith.

She had been a resident of the county mosl of her lifetime. Her husband, Elmer J. Walter, died in September, She was a member of Hie Wesley Chapel of Slroudsburg. Mrs. Walter is survived by one daughter, Mrs.

Ruth Crailey of Tacoma Park, five sons, Russell J. Waiter of J. J. McGuire, Pocono Manor dies at 52 POCONO MANOR John J. McGuire, 52, of Pocono Manor, died in the General Hospital of Monroe Counly Thursday.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late James i a a McGuire and had been a resident of Pocono Manor for the past 10 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Ml. Pocono. Mr.

McGuire is survived by his mother and his wife, Mrs. Anne Neison McGuire, at home; a stepson, William Martin, St. a i sisters. Misses Margaret and Rose McGuire, Philadelphia, Mrs. Dewey Fisher, Cottshocton, Ohio, and Mrs.

Robert Sherz- inger, Philadelphia; and two brothers, James and Joseph McGuire, Philadelphia. A requiem mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pocono, with the Rev.

Robert Galligan, celebrant. Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Minisink Hills.
