May 11, AIooD Cttji THIS WEEK AT THE THEATERS HAPPY-GO-LUCKY That's the personality of the quaint and merry mice friends of the slavey who becomes a princess as the heroine of Walt Disney's "Cinderella" at 'the Cecil Theater. The all-cartoon musical fantasy in Technicolor features the field mice, birds, a horse and a dog besides a great fat cat in the picture. It is the story of the cinder girl who outwits her stepsisters. ACTION-PACKED Alan Ladd portrays a lone figure against the setting of a Post-Civil War Kansas Territory in "The Big Land," showing at the Palace Theater. He is starred with Virginia Mayo and Edmorul O'Brien in this 'action-packed film of thrills.

Gordon Douglas directed the.David Dortort and Martin Rackin screenplay. Anthony Caruso and Julie Bishop arc in the cast. At Your "Cinderella" Is Fairy Tale for Everyone Everyone loves the fairy tale because it touches the heart and captivates the imagination. It traces the adventures of the scullery maid who rises above her misfortunes to become a princess, with the help of a genial fairy godmother. To transfer this to the screen as Walt Disney did in his film version showing at the Cecil Theater, he kept its magic and beauty intact by using cartoon-animation of great variety to project its characters.
