Because the opening night falls on a Saturday, Elvis' customary single performance on opening nights will be moved to the'next evening, Sunday, January 27. Herb Jeffries Tops Harolds Club Bill Singer Herb Jeffries continues to entertain audiences nightly in Harolds Club Silver Dollar Room, through February 3. Also on the showbill is comedian-satirist Cork Proctor with Kenny Dotson on the guitar It 'looks like a January opening for Russo's new establishment, the Eggplant, which is located opposite the Hyatt House Burlingame. This is another remarkable creation of Designer Mike Kane.

Already set to provide the entertainment at the new spot are Cisco and Boston Mason The Holiday season was a bustling one for Doug Young, general manager of the International Inn, South San-Francisco, and bis- staff. Besides the steady flow of every-day business in. the restaurant and coffee'shop, the banquet and party schedule was heavier than usual. The coming months also show a heavy slate of meetings and business conferences. If you've seen the Inn's excellent facilities for private gatherings you well understand why business is so bustling It was a banner year for John Graziano and Vic Scafani, who own and operate Woodlake Joe's in San Mateo and the Brentwood Lodge, South San Francisco.
