The top photo shows the modern line of machinery on the John Kannegieter farm just west of Buck Grove, after the tornado had touched the farm Monday evening. Volunteer working crews from neighboring towns and Grundy Center began Tuesday to help dig out and salvage farm equipment. The photo at bottom shows the remains of a relatively new Chevrolet.

It had 6800 miles on it when the storm hit at the Kannegieter farm. The car was carried thru the air a quarter of a mile. The engine was shaken out of the car about 100 yards west of its landing place, which was across the street from the Buck Grove creamery. This last quarter mile was indeed a rough ride. The car was a total loss.

Recorder Feed Thoughts Are you confused as to what feed to use 1 I can readily see that you could be. as all feed company salesmen claim they have just what you should be using. What are you going to use as a so-called measuring stick to help you decide what to use 1 The easiest way out of this predicament, I can assure you, is to get on the PURIXA program. As always, you as the feeder purchase your feed where you want to get it, as you are paying the K'l. This I know.

Were I paying your feed bill, you would certainly have to be using PURINA Chows. The RALSTON PURINA COMPANY didn't just get to be the largest and oldest feed company in the business today by doing nothing. They have proven their right to be on top by carrying on an extensive and continuous program of experiments to take all the guesswork out of it for you farmers, and to help you make more money! No one will question that PURINA is a good feed. Just remember you pay for a good program whether you use one or not. A cheap feed doesn't stay cheap very long.

Take it from me. There is no better feed on the market today than PURINA If it's results you are after (and who isn't), the PURINA PROGRAM IS THE PROGRAM FOR If in need of Weed Killer, Fertilizer. Fly Spray, Pig Wormer, or Sanitation products, see me today. I buy eggs. Highest prices paid.
