Lawrence of Savannah was a retired general agent for the Mutual Life Insurance Co. with offices in Huntington and Charleston before his retirement. A native of Medford, he was a graduate of Harvard and later attended Harvard Business School, Mr. Lawrence was an ing track at the university. In 1911 he set the worlds record for the indoor jump.
