He's been there, done that l. Court, of Chippewa Falls, is more than a chiropractor. He's also a missionary working with End-Time Glory Ministries based in Willmar, Minn. He's visited impoverished communities in Mexico and Jamaica.

But the residents are joyful They arent bitter about their circumstances. Court said there's no complaining about what they don't have only appreciation for what they do have. The group, including Rev. Debra Zimmer, president of the ministry, visited the community of Mwanza and Maisome Island, which is surrounded by Lake Victoria. Court said traveling from Mwanza to Maisome Island gave him a new appreciation for convenient travel About 50 people packed onto an open-hull fishing boat for the several-hours-long ride across the lake. Once he and his group arrived, they were greeted by a group singing and dancing a hearty welcome.

The island is small Court said it would take a person only three hours to walk from one end of the island to the other. The island has no electricity or running water, and all of the roads are dirt But Court said the residents do have a place to wor- ship. On the small island is a temporary church building no permanent structure may be built on the island. "Here we're coming to preach to them and I'm feeling more impacted by their Court said.
