El Dorodo Movtmkor 1, 1941 An extensive construction and development program, including complete renovation of customer service facilities, was announced Thursday for the Kxchange Hank and Trust Company Louis Hurley, president One major phase a landscaped parking area, is now in progress Another phase, construction for the expansion and modernization of the bank Motor Bank fanlt ties was started Thursday And details on another major phase, complete renovation of the main banking quarters was an nounced with complete details to come later Motor Bank facilities of The F.xchange Bank will be doubled with completion of the drive-in expansion program and will include television teller units the first such installation in South Arkansas The remaining half of the old Mitchell Hotel has been demoil shed and that immediately adjacent to the present Motor Bank, will be used for additional lanes and teller units The paved traffic area will be doubled and traffic will be re-routed, so that all drive-in customers will enter from the Oak Street side moving from east to west through the teller stations This will greatly increase the number of ofj street waiting spact's.
