ort Gulick Canal Zone for four years Was S3 Officer While in Europe during World War II Col avreau was 3 officer of the 635th A Battalion and later commander of the 5th A Battalion After the war he attended the Command and Gen eral Staff College at ort Leaven worth Kans after which he re turned to Germany as S2 Of the 15th Constabulary Regiment Upon his return tn the United States in 194S he was assigned to the General Staff 3 Depart ment of the Army A review parade honoring Col avreau was held by OCS last riday Since he was assigned to ort Sill in 1955 Maj Rosser has served as executive officer 4 and finally as 3 of the 6th Ar mored ield Artillery Battalion Previously st Sill He was previously at ort Sill however in other capacities rom 1941 through 1 943 he was an in structor in the 32 A Training Regiment In 1943 he graduated from Officer Candidate School and was again assigned to Sill after World War II He has also taken two communications courses one in 1941 and another in 1946 During World War IT he served the Pacific Theater and has earned the Bronze Star and vari ous other medals and campaign ribbons During his military ca peer he has served a total of 95 months of overseas duty including Southwest Pacific Japan Italy and Germany He has no definite plans follow ing retirement but intends to make his home in Lawton with his wife and two children School Loses office of the School until he became personnel officer in November of last year During World War II he served in Germany Northern rance and Belgium In 1946 he attended the AG School for recruiting at ort Oglethorpe Ga Col Smith commanding officer of the Army presented Mr Halliday with a let ter of appreciation from Gen Maxwell Taylor Army' Chief of Staff and a certificate ot retire ment from the Army Adjutant General A coffee hour was held for Mr Halliday his wife and son and personnel of the School who attended the presentations He plans to make his home In Lawton where he plans to become an refusing to take the state full oil allowable from its leases Yesterday Kerr McGee Oil In dustries Inc announced purchase of crude oil gathering sys tem in Ok al ohm a from Gull Re fining Co a subsidiary of Gulf Oil Corp The application has not been turned in to the commission which must approve it Chairman Ray Jones said Rogers said the suit will be pressed by the state because were in
