Merchants Plan Dinner Meeting Tuesday, May 25 Plans for a special i meeting to be held Tuesday night. May 25. in the Wanango Country club, were ionriulated by members of the Retail Merchants Bureau of the Chamber of Commerce at a. meeting held Friday morning in the chamber's arsembly room. The bureau has secured John B.

Keeler, vice president in charge of traffic and transportation department of the Koppers Pittsburgh, as the principal speaker of Lhe evening. This dinner meeting will fee similar to other functions held by the. bureau with one exception, that is, that industrialists of the community will be invited to join with the merchants on occasion. The program-will include a social hour a.t 6:15 p. ni.

followed by the dinner. P.eservations should be with J. G. Payne, executive secretary of the Chamber of Comi merce. During yesterday's meeting, the i members of the 'bureau adopted a I resolution of of the city administration for its' recent activities which lend improvements to the municipality.

Particular attention is called in the resolution to the success to date of the "traffic control plan," which was instituted last Monday. The city was also commended for the manner in which the streets i of the municipality were cleaned i this spring. The city was able to l.have the thoroughfares cleaned much earlier than usual. The resolution drafted by the I merchants also pointed out the advantage to the city of the new street lighting. Anderson, farmer and resident 87, of retired President township for 75 years, died Friday morning in the home his nephew, Robert Anctorson, Woodside Hasson Heights.
