Mothers Honored By Gradale Sorority The members of the Gradale Sorority entertained their mothers at a banquet in the Sugarcreek Methodist church Tuesday evening. The table was attractively decorated with pink tapers, and spring flowers. Pink carnations were presented to the 14 mothers present. The dinner was served by ths ladies of the church. Mrs.

Reed Arnold, president, welcomed the guests and sev eral poems were road in keeping with the Mother's Day theme. Miss Rachel McPherson introduced Jack iH'arter, who presentee a program of humorous and educa tlonal pictures. The banquet committee included Mrs. Merle Owen, Mrs. Harry Fet terolf and Mrs.

Flickner pianist. A reading, "A Christian Home," was given by Mrs. Dale Berlin. "A Tribute of Mothers, was read by Mrs. Klghtlingcr and the response "A Tribute to Children" was given by Mrs.

Charles Haun "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," was sung by Mrs. Grant Jones. Two articles, "The'Family Plays Mr ScotT Together" and "Thr Family Wor- hlps Together," were read by Mrs. R. E.

A. Held Meet Monday The Ninth' Street Parent-Teacher association concluded its meetings for the year on Monday evening with a session in the-achool Mrs. J. N. Rila, the retiring president, was in charge of the business meeting.

The P.T.A. prayer, and salute to the flag were given and reports were heard from the Cubs, Gir Scouts and the Brownies. Mr. and Mrs. George Griffen were appointed to audit the books.

Plans were discussed for a hummage sale to be held in the T. M. C. A. on May 14.
