Wednesday; October INTIbLIOINCIK ABC Sweeps Ratings Again: 11 of Top 20 Los Angeles (AP) The good news for ABC: The Nielsens again show it No. 1 in ratings for evening shows, again with 11 of its shows among the nation's 20 highest- rated evening programs wwk. The bad news for ABC: Its piimc-time average in last vt-ek's ratings dropped by more than a ratings point, with its shows seen in 925,600 fewer homes than during the first week of the new season. Second-place NBC's ratings dropped just slightly, with 71.200 fewer homes watching its shows than in "premiere week," while the weekly rating average for CBS was unchanged from the previous week. Ironically, last week's lop- prated show "Happy Days" also accounted for the bulk of the drop in ABC's weekly ratings average, according to A.

C. Nielsen Co. audience estimates. It was seen in more than 24 million homes. But in the previous week, when it also was the nation's highest-iated show, it was seen in about 700.000 more homes, according 1o Nielsen estimates.

Ratings for the week ending Oct. 3 showt-d (he week's least- watched entertainment program was CBS' "Spencer's Pilots." Of four new series starting last week, only CBS' "Alice" was in the Nielsen top 20. The others and their rankings were ABC's "Nancy Walker Show, 24th place; NBC's "Best Sellers" and new "Qniney" segment of its Sunday Mystery Movie, 29th and 20th place, respectively. According to the Nielsen figures, last week's 20 top-rated shows were "Happy Days" and "Laverne and Shirley," ABC; "Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway" and "Earthquake: Part Two," NBC; "Bionic Woman" a a i Angels," ABC: "All in the Family," CBS; "Rich Man, Poor Man," "Sunday Movie" and "Baretta," ABC; "M-A-SH," CBS; "Family," ABC; "Alice," CBS; "Welcome Back, Hotter," ABC; "Good Times," CBS: "Barney Miller" and "Captain and Tennille," ABC; "The Waltons" and "One Day at a Time."
