TENANTS LOSE COMPANY HOUSES AS EMPLOYER OUSTS THEM AFTER STRIKE CLERK WINS $230 ON QUIZ PROGRAM; GIVES IT IN $1 BILLS TO POOR DISPLACED PERSONS--Marlon Kerr and his family sit disconsolately at the roadside with their furniture after eviction from their farmhouse In Bfekersfield, Calif Mass evictions from the company-owned homes followed a long strike by the farm workers who are demanding union recognition and higher wages. Kerr had been an employee of the concern for seven years. Other residents of the frost-struck city were less appreciative. THE GOOD SAMARITAN--Bank clerk Joseph Snyder, who won $230 on a quiz program, distributes It all in $1 bills to needy persons on the bread line outside the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in New York. Snyder added $20 of his own to the bankroll Franciscan Brother Lawrence hands out the food..
