Page 12 GREELEY TRIBUNE Wednesday, June 25, 1968 oman FBA To Give Benefit Dance at Platteville Platteville chapter of Future Homemakers of America will give a benefit dance Saturday night from 8 o'clock until midnight at the high school gym. Proceeds will help pay expenses of Joanne Yamaguchi, who has been chosen to go to the national FHA convention at Kansas City. AU Plalteville High school students and as many guests as they wish to bring are invited to attend the dance. The students are asked to give the names of their guests to Christine Ulrich or Judy Lee Fanner. Plans for the benefit were made at a meeting last week at the home of Lynn Bruce.

Yount of Fleming, a sen ior at Colorado State.

The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Raeside pastor of the Presbyterian church He was assisted by Dr. John Gehman of Parsons, Kan. William Bailey was organist and playoc several selections of sacred wed ding music and accompanied Mrs B. B.

Smith, who sang, 0 Lord Most Holy and 0 Perfect Love. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, C. C. Gaines The altar was beautifully banket with palms and a pair of tal chancel flower standards arrange! with white gladiolus, asters and lilies, These were interspered with cathedral tapers. The standards were accented with large white satin bows and had been made for the occasion by the bride's father Family pews were marked with sprigs of forget-me-nots, fever few and baby breath tied with white satin bows.

The bride's dress was fashioned with double layers of Swiss organdy with a snug bodice, short cap sleeves and a portrait neckline. The bell shaped skirt was com plemented in the back with a ioublc pouf extending into a sweep cngth' train. The dress was embel- ished with reembroidered heirloom lace seeded with pearls. Her veil was held in a circlet of rose point pearlized lace end tiny flowerets. The gown had been made by Mrs.

Gaines. The bride carried a white Bible topped with a white orchid and stephanotis. Serving as matron of honor was the bride's sister, Mrs. Robert Krucker of Independence, Mo. Bridesmaids were Miss Clara Jane Collier and the groom's two sisters, Mrs.

Dorvin Schepler of Fleming and Mrs, Harold Brecht of Crook. The attendants wore floor length dresses of twilight blue batiste, a i with brief sleeves, necklines and molded bodices. The shaped cummerbunds formed Obi sashes at the back. Their dressed were embroidered with lace motifs highlighted with iridescent sequins. Matching motifs trimmed their hair braid coronets.

They carried bouquets of majestic and marguerite daisies. Best man was Burl Brownell, classmate of the groom. Harold Brecht Crook and Dorvin Schepler of Fleming, brothers-in-law of Yount, and Robert Krucker, brother-in-law of the bride, were ushers and groomsmen. Russell Plank Sterling and Keith Mf-Paaiel of Fleming, also classmates of the groom, served as candlelighters and groomsmen. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs.

Gaines chose a dress of voile, mul- titone blue on white, and accented with white accessories, Her corsage was a white gladiolus and flowerets. Mrs. Yount, mother of the groom, wore a rose pink sheath dress with matching accessories. Her corsage was of pink roses. The reception following the wedding was held in the church parlors, which were beautiful with the ef- feet of a setting of flowers.

A tall blue anniversary candle was encircled by a'floral arrangement in which was cfadled iny pink cherubs attached with small white satin hearts. The candlelighled table for the guest look, was in charge of Mrs. Charles Knapp. The bride's table was laid with a white linen embroidered cloth ind centered with white daisies and lilies in a crystal bowl and three iranch candelabra holding blue apers. Rosebuds and lorget-me- -iots decorated the five tiered round Wedding cake which- was topped vith a corsage of daisies with white ace ribbon streamers.

The cake was edged with miniature bouquets of baby breath, Sweetheart roses, ever few and blue net. Assisting at the table were Mrs. Don Walker of TopSka and Mrs. J. D.

Rector. For traveling, 1 the bride chose a -white pique sheath dress and black patent leather accessories. Her corsage was the white orchid from her bouquet. The couple left immediately for a wedding trip in the Ozarks. They will spend the summer in Fleming.

Mrs. Yount is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. C.

Gaines of. Independence, Kan. She is a graduate of the Independence High School and Community College. She received her BA degree from CSC, majoring in elementary education, The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Ted H. Yount of Fleming, is a graduate of Fleming High school and spent one year at the University of Colorado. He will receive his degree in business administration from CSC next year. Yount served as business manager of the Mirror, college newspaper this past year He is a member of Delta Sigma 'hi fraternity at CU and Pi Omega national'honorary fraternity, at CSC. Both Mr.
