Connelly said the 4-H motto of 'Make the Best Better" told the purpose of the training -session. The various officers assembled in their respective meeting rooms learned new and reviewed problem! of their duties as officers In their vicious clubs. Connelly expressed the need of good citizenship to the group of young people as they work in their respective communities, club activities, home and schools. Mrs. Eugene Howell gave the club officers a citizenship report. Mrs. Howell made this comment: "Should we say that good leaders make good citizens or good citizens make good leaden?" In displaying good citizenship, Mrs.

Howell said "we should try to understand others and their problems and ideals, assume responsibility and think of others that we may help them," The speaker expressed the im- portance of "our freedom of choice and how we ought to preserve this right" Another officers training school will be held Mar. 29, with the meeting place to be announced later.
