TUITION FREE! Basic ond G.E.D. AdHit Education These classes are for adults who have had their education interrupted and who may not have finished their elementary or Mgh school education. Basic Educarion Instruction will be keyed to the individual's own capabilities. Assistance will be given to enrollees in learning the fundamentals of reading, arithmetic, grammar and spelling. G.E.D.

HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY EDUCATION Courses will be presented in English, Sodal Studies, United States and Illinois Constitutions, Natural Sciences and General Mathematics. This program will prepare an adult to take the G.E.D. test, and upon successful completion entitles llie adult to a High School Equivalency Certificate. This certificate provides adults an opportunity for employment, entry into vocational training, admission to college, job promotion and personal satisfaction. These Classes are Held Both Day and Evening At: The Carl Sandburg College Adult Learning Center, 876 West Main Street Phone 343-8713, Galesburg, Illinois 61401.

9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (September through June.) 6:30 p.m.-9:00 p.nu Monday and Wednesday (September through May.) An adult may enroll in these classes at the Learning Center either full-time or part-time, according to one's working schedule. Day program begins September 5. Evening students register between p.m. September 6.
