Wright, all of Danville, took place Friday, February 14, at 7 p.m. in Keen Street Baptist Church. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Thomas E. Wright, pastor of the bride and father of the bridegroom, before a setting of jade and emerald foliage, with arrangements of white gladioli, chrysanthemums and carna- tions interspersed in greenery.

Cathedral candles in brass candelabra and single standards completed the set- ting. The pews were marked with bows of white satin. A program of wedding music was presented by Mrs. Kenneth White, organist, and Reginald Boaze, who a "Whither Thou Goest." Given in marriage by her father, the bride.wore a gown of white delustered. satin with Empire bodice, long pointed sleeves of imported lace, and detachable train which fell from the shoulders.

Her tiered bouf- Eant veil of silk illusion was leld by a cluster of rosettes. 3he carried a white satin and showered prayer book with white carnations, centered with white hybrid orchids. Miss Linda Buck was maid of honor. Miss Carolyn Hudgins was bridesmaid and i Barbara Ann Dameron, sister of the bride, was i bridesmaid. All wore full-length Empire dresses of red and white, with red bodices and sleeves overlaid with lace.

The Empire waistlines were outlined with a band of red velvet ribbon centered with a bow and streamers. Their headdresses were bows of red velvet with short fly-away bustle veils. Each carried a lace-edged heart centered with red carnations, showered with white lace and red satin streamers. Jeffrey Wright was best man for his brother. Ushers were Stephen Wright, brother of the bridegroom, and Jerry Marshall of Danville.

A reception was held in the social hall of the church, where decorations in red and white repeated the wedding motif. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Bowles in- troduced guests to the receiving line, and Miss Bettie Sue Luther was at the guest register. Assisting in serving were Miss Leah -Gilliland, Mrs: Elliott, and Mrs.
