day will kick off with full handicap golf with a 7:30 a.m. shotgun start, followed by a four-player scramble starting at 4 p.m. A family picnic follows from 5 to 8 p.m., featuring hamburgers, grilled chicken, bratwurst, hot dogs, ice cream and chips for sale at nominal prices. Restaurant will serve fro- zen custard. Activities include miniature golf, a slide, a wind tunnel, junior golf lessons, live music, a visit by Uncle Same and more.

A reworks displays will follow at dusk, around 9:15 p.m. Th display will last for about 45 minutes and be accompanied by patriotic music. Th rain date for the fi reworks display is Sunday. Parking will be available at the Bolingbrook Golf Club and other nearby locations. When these lots are full, residents will be directed to park in extended parking locations in the Carlow Corporate Center on Dalton Lane and at village property on Essington Road.

Shuttle buses will be available to transport guests to and from the remote parking sites to the golf club.
