THURSDAY EVENING. SEPTEMBER 12, 1963 A I I I PAGE 39 Jacqueline Designs Yule Cards WASHINGTON DPI -Christmas cards bearing reproductions of two paintings, of Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy will be sold throughout the country this fall to help raise funds for the proposed National Cultural Center here. The White House said today in making the announcement that the orig- inal water colors were painted by the First this year while vacationing on Cape Cod. A spokesman said Mrs.

Kennedy did the paintings specially for the cards and that it was her own idea. One of the designs is entitled "The Journey of the Magi" and shows three wise men on black camels with gold trappings against a red background on their way to Bethlehem. The other -card called "Glad Tidings" portrays a golden-haired angel. The National Cultural Center is seeking to raise $30 million for construction of a building here to house a symphony hall, theater, and opera house. American Men: Milquetoasts, Lousy Lovers--Say U.

They blamed institutions, not the opposite sex." Quite often. Mrs. Thaddous continued, the woman visualizes the man sis a Milquetoast. Yet she will look down on a failure, not only in business, but in his relationship with other people, even though she is the reason for his failure. "She may not want her husband to be an oaf--like so many husbands on television but she wants other husbands to be weak.

They don't say anything about what a cad the man might be." Mrs. Thaddeus said she waded through "a lot. of dull material" about how more suave the European male is than the American and about the "skirt chasers" which were not included in the anthology.
