In its recently issued 1974 annual report, the Methodist Board of World Ministries said it spent $13 2 million last year on work performed by 86H missionaries in 55 of the 73 countries with which Methodism is linked. The mission fields ranged from overpopulated. starving Bangladesh to sparsely settled Brazil, from the regressive government of South Korea to 'he mure open hopeful climate of Angola Simr of the countries served nerd substantial assistance from missionaries, while others are sending out Iheu own workers few have declared moratoriums on admitting any more American church representatives To illustrate the complexity of the hodgepodge that con stitutes the foreign field sent to Nopal are forbidden by the government to so they simply work as Christians through hospitals and schools Indonesia, on the other hand, has given complete freedom to evangelistic efforts, which are conducted by Methodists principally in rural areas The Japanese Christian community is seeking help in a national search for a set of values to go with the new national prosperity In South America, where nearly every government is a military dictatorship, religious organizations have asked for suppoi in their operations as pressure groups An American church must thus lie aware of a different set of rules and conditions in almost every country it includes in its mission One strong thread runs through missions nearly everywhere Hunger has iHH-ome a common bond that has drawn people together in misery around the world The Hoard of (ilobal Ministries declared that the "stark reality of world hunger" haunts the entire mission movement "Although Christians cannot cease responding to emergency situations, it is essential that the root causes of poverty, hunger and economic inequities be determined and attacked," I 'ailing foi an end In h.i! h.i< rmnc in be known as Hind Aid an airdrop of tram here a doctor with Methnscope there (he hoard thai its concern become a srnrcli tor inx'o'vcmi-n' pentiinolx cntal proiorls funds and man aro limilrri Ihr hoard has decided Ihnl niusl 1 found to help the natives of loreign mission rounlnos to -i Ml improve around the wmld lit 1 many were rnuae' 1 liMchmg. in medical I ill .1 1 de volnpitienl I 1 1 fer.it lire biblical ion in v.pi-( ial mil i' milreach pr a CHIDREN TAX TO GOD musical SUNDAY EVERYONE WELCOME FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH Grand at Gidding INRAV SCHOOI ORNINf, WORSHIP Broadcast Over KCLV CLOVIS, NM 930AM CHURCH TRAINING 500PM 11 00 AM (VI NINC, WORSHIP 600PM T. I love him and don't want to give him up. How can I win him back? A I think it's important to realize you have an advantage over the woman your husband is seeing Any relationship outside of marriage is tinged with guilt.

It has a negative base. But your relationship with your husband began in something good. He chose you. He saw in you something he wanted in his wife. Now it may be that 1 something has disappeared in the time since you married.

You may have allowed yourself to become unattractive in your appearance or your attitude. You love your husband. That is the most important asset in winning him back. I often say, "Show me a marriage that's falling apart, and I'll show you two people who are trying to GET from each other instead of giving sounds so simple, but it works. The struggle is in coming to the starting place where you are willing to give first.

Many people say that marriage is a 50-50 do your part and I'll do my part." Jesus said, "Give (FIRST), and it shall be given unto you" (Luke 6 38). And there is no limitation set. It is a totality of giving. What does giving first to your husband mean? It means you go back to where you left off. Go back in your memory to the help 2) Give that which is lacking in your relationship (and you know what that is in your own situation better than anyone else).

3) Expect back from your giving- from God. He is the One who can renew your love. Expect a miracle and it can be yours. When you fall in love with Jesus and make Him the center Source of your life, then It's possible to fall in love again with each other and to build the kind of home that you both dreamed of in your days of courtship. School Uses Old-Fashioned Drill Again DENVER (AP) Students enrolled in an experimental "old-fashioned" school have scored well beyond expected levels on standardized achievement tests.

Students at the Fundamental School in suburban Jefferson County gained as much as two years in basic skills over the six months the school has been in operation.
