Mildred Madery, president of Clovis Drove No. 108 will attend as official delegate from Clovis. She will be accompanied by past presidents Bertha Foater, Clem Collins, and Marge McCuIlough. Mrs. McCullough, who is also a past sunrsme (national) president, left a week ahead of the others in order to attend the annual meeting of the Executive Council prior to convention.

The convention will officially open with a formal tea on Sunday afternoon, June 11, honoring the Supreme President, Fran Farrell of Des Moines, Iowa, and all Past Supreme Presidents. Other special functions include the public Memorial Service on Monday evening, two formal banquets, a delegates luncheon, three workshops, and a "Fun Night" on Wednesday. This year's gala affair will be an exotic fun filled extravaganza entitled "Arabian Nights," and will be helc at the Mesa Elks Lodge. Assistant Employed As Instructor PORTALES (Special) Mrs. Peggy Elias of Roswell, a graduate assistant in physical education at Eastern New Mexico University, has been employed as a gymnastics coach and instructor in physical education at Memphis State University. Mrs. Elias, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Howard W. Conner, graduated from Roswell High in 1963 and completed her degree with a major in physical education at Eastern in'1968. Upon graduation she taught and coached at Goddard High in Roswell for three years. With an enrollment of 20,000 students at Memphis State and a health, physical education, and recreation staff of 50 faculty members, Mrs.

Elias will be teaching all the women's gymnastics classes and coaching.
