Ohio (AP) Police state investigators have sent a number of unspecified items to the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation which were removed Friday from the Raster mass slaying site here. remained in jail under $200.000 bond after he was indicted on 11 counts of aggravated murder in the slayings. The dead, buried Friday about the same time the indictments were returned, included Ruppert's mother. Charity Ruppert. brother Leonard II. 42, Leonard's wife, Alma, 38.

and their eight children. Hamilton Police Chief George McNally said "a number of items" were removed from the home of Charity Ruppert. He said a thorough search of the small frame home was made by police and state investigators. The items were sent to the BCI laboratory at London, Ohio. McNally declined to reveal the nature of the items removed.

The house has been sealed off by police since the bodies were discovered Sunday night. McNally said Ruppert had summoned police. Officers had been told a man had been shot. When police arrived, they found the eleven bodies in the living room and kitchen. James Rupperl was the only person alive.

Police said 31 empty shell casings were found. Three guns were confiscated. Butler County Coroner Garret J. Boonc said all the victims were shot in the head and chest except one. Boonc said' the autopsy re- ports were being withheld from the public.

Ruppert declined comment when he read the indictments in his jail cell, sheriff's deputies said. He did not attend the funeral mass Thursday night at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in nearby Fairficld. Ohio. Defense attorneys for the unemployed draftsman said their client was under examination by psychiatrists and psychologists. They said, however, this was no Indication that Ruppert would plead innocent by reason of insanity.
