The congregation refused to accept 1he resignation of Baird Goodman as deacon, asking him to continue in offico until the expiration of his term. The Ladies' Aid voted to have four suppers this year the first to be held on the evening of April 22.

The arrangements of having the aid divided into divisions has been abandoned. The A. B. class of the Methodist school will hold an Easter jiiarket on the front of the L. Mceks 'homo on Saturday morning at 9:30 'clock.

The annual supper to be given by the public schools in the school building on April 16 is'sponsored by the Athletic association. The whole school participates in do- lations and in preparation of the supper, and the mothers of the student body donate their services. On Thursday night April Hi, following the supper the Pythian Sisters are sponsoring an amateur contest in the high school auditorium. Miss Florence Stock, chairman, has announced that all persons participating in this program must call her or see her not Inter Umn Monday noon. Her address is Seven Mile, and phone number is 403, Seven Mile exchange.

This program is open to anyone having the ability to entertain i music, tap dancing, singing, impersonating or any other hobby which might be classed as entertainment. There will be three divisions, first group including children up to the seventh grade; second group all from seventh grade up to the fourth year of high school inclusive and alt children that age not in School; the third group includes all above high school The time is o'clock but all participants must be there by 7:45 p. m. b'red Bruun, piano accordionist, of Hamilton, will play. Sunday morning Easter union service will be held in the Presbyterian church, Reverend Grant speaking. The public is invited. Special musical programs will be rendered at the church hour Sunday morning in both churches and in the evening at the union service in the Presbyterian church the combined choirs will present a program oi; Easter music.
