Daniel Tayfor, Michelle Northgate schedules 2 concerts Northgate School District will present an "Evening of Music" at both Avalon and Bellevue Junior-Senior High Schools Friday at 8 p.m. At Avalon the band and choruses will share the stage for the annual spring concert. The Concert Band, directed by Ted Nevin, will offer a program including a Sousa march, Jim Croce selections and an arrangement using a Moog synthesizer. Avalon's choruses will present such works as selections from "Oliver," "The Way We Were" and "Love Is Blue." Director is Mrs. Lou Jean Seifarth.

Admission is free. The Bellevue Symphonic Band will present its last concert of the season. Director is Paul Gerlach. The band's program of classic and contemporary music will feature selections from "West Side Story" and "Rock Movement," highlighting a student rock group. Diane Abernethy, Bellevue senior who was recently awarded a music scholarship to Carnegie-Mellon University, will be soloist in "Concertina for Flute." Tickets are available at the door.
