REINCARNATION--John Richardson stars as a contemporary young Englishman who learns that he Is the reincarnated lover of a year-old Egyptian queen, played by Ursula Andrcss, in the film version of II. Rider Haggard's popular novel "She" on "The CBS Thursday Night Movies" July 2 at 9 p. in. Pels Allowed Featured On NBC Theatre Household pets of all kinds in natural unstagcd situations will be featured in "Pets Allowed," one of the "NBC Children's Theatre" specials on the NBC Television Network, this Fall. June Reig, writer, producer and director of the one-hour colorcast, said she is seeking pets for the program, and would welcome, letters and photo- graphs of extraordinary pets from anyone to be considered for use in "Pets Allowed." "Pets Allowed," an all-new special, will feature a variety of domesticated animals, pedi- greed and mongrel, in their regular routine and relationship with other animals as well as humans.

Miss Iteig said, "The show will project the world of the pel as seen through the eyes of a child, but will be heard from the animal's viewpoint as a name, personality narrates what each animal may be thinking or feeling. "The basic concept of the program is sharing a vicarious first program encounter with pels; the child should be able to reflect, 'Oh, thal's Ihe way a pel- feels when I do thai', or 'that's why pets act they way they do'!" Special features of "Pets Al- lowed" include: i Bunny and the Country Bunny" dealing with different life styles of two different pel rabbits; "An Orphan Gets A Home," the story of an unwanted pet left a a a i a shelter; a fanciful animated sequence about the things an animal dreams while stretched out in front of a fireplace or tied to a post. All letters should he addres- sed to "Pets Allowed," Doom 409, a i a Broadcasting Company, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, N. Y. 10020.

Red Sox, Gloria Left, lleturnsNow After Delay lly VEIINON SCOTT Ul'l llollywonil Correspondent HOLLYWOOD (UPI)--Gloria (ji'aharne left motion pictures J5 years to have a haby-- she hasn't been back sincn. "After the baby was born I thought my responsibility as a mother was more important than my career," Gloria said the other day. "I planned to back to wort; after my baby was old enough to fio to school." Gloria, who won the, best supporting actress Academy Award for "The Bad and the Beautiful" in 1902, miscalculat- ed somewhat on her timing. Instead of returning to films she had two more babies. "I kept putting off my acting until each of Ihe youngsters was old enough to attend school.

Now all of them are busy during the day attending school, and I'm back at work." Gloria co-stars in "What Are We Going To Do About Skipper," a a a in which she plays the mother of a vicious young killer. It is her first picture since "The Good Die Young." Gloria looks very much as she did before her hiatus from the screen. Movie making, however, isn't what it once was. "I was surprised to see how much Hollywood has changed," she said. "The big studios are no longer the ruling force.

And budgets for pictures aren't what they used to be. "Naturally I've kept up with movies. I enjoy seeing them. But story content is drastically new. Shock Value "Things are said and done now that we never dreamt of when I was working steadily.

They've really gone overboard on this sex thing. It amuses me to read about shocked actresses who say they won't work in the nude unless it's absolutely necessary as a story point. "Evidently almost every mo- vie has a tremendously impor- tant story point that includes a nude." Gloria, who a no claims to Victorianism, was asked if in view of the strip- tease syndrome rampant among actresses today, she would dis- robe for a motion picture role, "ff it was an important story point in a picture," she replied with a straight face. What, pray, would constitute such a story point. "If it was a nudist picture," Gloria said.

"There isn't any other reason for an actress to take off her clothes." Gloria, who looks fine fully clothed, refused to speculate about the future prospects of dishabille in her acting career. She did, however, regret the tendency toward exhibitionism among actresses. It is one thing to see Elizabeth Taylor or Raquel Welch au It is quite another to see Mia Farrow in the same state. Gloria will wait to see what future scripts hold but doubts she will accept a nudist role.
