With baseball beginning, the next thing that comes to mind is the local "swimming hole." Cal Park's pool and facilities will open on Saturday, June llth. That may be a month away, but everyone wishing to use the pool must come in and register. Registration will be held on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting May 17th. On Tuesdays registration hours are 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m.

Well, Gertie is happy to be home after spending last week vacationing with hubby and son, Bobby in Oklahoma. We had a lovely time visitng with Bobby's great- grandpa Rutherford in Cor- vetta and with other relatives in Muskogee. Bobby didn't particularly care for the car trip, but he enjoyed the warm weather, swimming pool and good company. However, it's nice to be home.
