Serviscope acquires Certified X-ray WALLINGFORD Serviscope a national provider of asset-management and cost-containment services for hospitals and other high-technology users, has acquired Virginia-based Certified X-ray. Pitney Bowes, based in Stamford, said its 92-copies-a-minute C950 FasTrack Copier Duplicator completes its copier product line. The company's copier systems division is based in Trumbull. The copiers are made by Mita, a Japanese company, and retooled by Pitney Bowes. Pittsburgh firm buys city-based IEC Independent Energy a developer of cogeneration and independent power-production facilities, was purchased by Pittsburgh-based Equitable Resources Inc. for an undisclosed amount.
