The annual Old Settlers Reunion at Oskaloosa will begin Thursday with registration at 10 a.m. at the Court House and will continue for three days. Jefferson County will vote on unification of its schools Sept. 8. The proposed six unified districts for the county has been approved by Adel F.

Throckmorton, state superintendent of Instruction. Vote for Don Smith, Republican, for Attorney General. Former county attorney and Cadet Thomas S. Hyde, a student at Kansas State College of Pittsburg, is attending ROTC summer oamp at Ft. Riley.
