Fridell of Georgetown, Texas officiated at the ceremony. Rita Gamache of College Station, sister of the groom and Toni Garcia of Austin, cousin of the groom did the readings. Nuptial music was provided by organist Danny King. The bride was given in marriage by Eduardo Sosa, her brother, and Marcelina G.

The bride chose an imported white gown of organza over satin with a wedding band neckline, sheer yoke lace peplum at waist, sheer appliqued leg-of-mutton sleeves and chapel length train The fitted bodice was appliqued with embroidered organza flowers. The white illusion chapel length train fell from a headpiece of silk roses, stephanotis and azares. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of white carnations and bridal roses. Marcela A.

Esparza of Channelview served her sister as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Emma Lysa Sosa of Austin and Veronica Sosa of Harlingen, nieces of the bride. The fitted bodice was accented with a Queen Anne neckline and tiered tulip sleeves with pearl droplets on the sleeves and waist. The bodice, skirt and cathedral length train were accented wiht embroidered flower motifs. The veil was of fingertip illusion falling from a jeweled V-cut wreath.

The bride carried a bouquet of yellow Golden Wave roses, white pixie carnations and white freesia in a round arrangement intermingled with a variety of foliages with cascading spider plant, ten- dries and white freesia entwined. Tina Dionne Black of Sacramento, Calif, served her cousin as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Cleo Etienne of Galveston, Tammy Mitchell of Arcola, sister of the groom, and Rita Gayle Polk of Bay City. Ashley N. Toussant of Galveston, cousin of the bride was the flower girl.

Best man was Ken Mitchell of Arcola, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Patrick Johnson of Beeville, nephew of the bride; Roy Lee Hayes, cousin of the groom and James Humpford both of Arcola. Ushers were Damon W. Horn of Denton, Lamonte Loftis of La Marque, both nephews of the bride, and Ted D. Black Jr.

of Sacramento, cousin of the bride. Ring bearer was Dominic C. Etienne of Galveston, godchild of the bride. A reception was held at St Peter's Hall in Galveston. of Galveston. She is a graduate of Ball High School. She has attended Texas University and is attending Galveston College. She is employed by Benno's on the beach. The groom is the son of Jesse Mitchell of Houston and Gloria Mitchell of Arcola.

He is a graduate of Dulles High School in Stafford, attended Texas University and is enlisted in the United States Army. Following a wedding trip to San Antonio, the couple resides in Clear Lake. Houseparty members Nancy Sosa; Annamaria Garcia, D.D.S.; Nina Medrado; DeNora Flores; Anna Lise Garza; Laura Azua; and Nancy Orendain served at the reception which was held at the Garten Verein. The bride is the daughter of Marcelina G. Sosa of Harlingen.

She is a graduate of Harlingen High School and Stanford University in Stanford, Calif. She is a senior medical student at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. The groom is the son of Ramiro and Mary Minor of San Angelo. He is a graduate of Central High School in San Angelo and Angelo State University. He is a senior medical student at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

The couple are residing Galveston. in Mrs. Jack David Ewing Jr. McDaniel, Ewing wed in La Marque Mr. and Mrs.

Charles E. Williams Compton, Williams wed in Galveston GALVESTON Belinda Fay Compton and Charles E. Williams were joined in marriage July 16 at Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church in Galveston. The Rev. Larry D.

Johnson officiated at the private ceremony. The bride chose an ivory tea- length draped gown. The'fitted bodice featured a V-neckline with Chantilly lace extending over the long sheer sleeves. The bride is the daughter of Helen L. Compton of Dickinson and Johnny Edwards of Galveston. She is a Dickinson High School graduate and attended Prairie View University. She is a lab technician at the University of Texas Medical Branch. The groom is the son of Annie Lee Williams of Galveston.

He is a Ball High School graduate and is a psychiatry technician at Mainland Center Hospital. Following a wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple are residing "in Galveston. Nuptial music was provided by organist John Sumrall and soloists Alan Wrotenbery and Mr. and Mrs. Charles McDaniel. Given in marriage by Charles Lee McDaniel and Kenneth Jay McDaniel, the bride chose a gown designed by Mori Lee. The fitted bodice with a basque waist had puff sleeves and was accented with Chantilly lace and seed pearls.

The cathedral length train was accented with matching lace in three tiers. The veil was an English nylon illusion trimmed withseed pearls. The bride carried a cascading bouquet of white cattieya orchid, white roses, sonia roses, den- drabium orchids, assorted greens and light blue gypsophila. Matron of honor was Pam Wrotenbery of Webster. Bridesmaids were Lori Ann Kirby of La Marque, Jennifer Patrick of Oklahoma City, Annette Barry of Texas City, and Sheri Yates of New Braunfels.

Flower girls were Bonnie Wrotenbery of Webster, Krissy Goodwin, Amanda Goodwin, and Candice Priddy of La Marque. Best man was Kenneth McDaniel of Kerrville. B.L. McDaniel Jr. of La Marque. She is a graduate of La Marque High School, attended Texas University and is attending University of Houston at Clear Lake. She has been affiliated with the Order of Rainbow for Girls and Legal Students Association.

She is a legal secretary. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Ewing Sr. of La Marque.

He is a cum laude graduate of St. Mary's University and a graduate of South Texas College of Law. He is employed with Leger and Hall Law Firm in Houston. Following a wedding trip to Canada, the couple will reside in Webster.
