Christensen Leslie Aland Graduate Student Chosen For Ethel Redfield Award Dorinda Grote Glennon, a graduate student in English at Idaho State University, has been awarded the Ethel Redfield Scholarship for the fall semester at ISU. She is a daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Roy La Moure, S.D. The scholarship will cover 'one semester's tuition.

The award was made on the basis of potential in the field of education. The fund is named in memory of the late Ethel E. Redfield, who was head of the ISU Department of Education from 1928-47. The scholarship is awarded to a student--or students--who demonstrate the personality, character, ideals and teaching ability to make a significant contribution to education. Mrs.

Nielsen Miss Caribou Pageant with 17 Entrants Expands to Two Nights in Soda Springs GRACE-With the largest entry list in the history of the Miss Caribou pageant, the event is being scheduled on two nights, according to Mrs. Russell Rindlishbaker and Mrs. Lynn Brangham, directors.

A total of 17 girls will compete in the beauty-talent pageant slated on Thursday and Friday in Soda Springs. Eight girls from Grace will participate. They are Barbara Hubbard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Hubbard; Lisa Allen, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Junius Allen; Brenda Nielsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nielsen, Linda Simonson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Von Simonson; Tammy Mickelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raeo Mickelson; Molly Ruud, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Ruud; Cynthia Painter, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Lloyd Painter; Julie Carter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Carter. Two are from Bancroft, in- cluding Martha Call, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Ferrie Call; Brenda McBride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McBride. Seven are from Soda Springs.

They are Janet Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Robinson; JoEllen Morgan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Morgan; Debra Welker, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Dennis Welker; Susanne Christensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Christensen; Bonnie Farrow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

The May 28 meeting will be hosted by Sue Shurtleff, Donna Coates and Hannah Sessions at a place to be announced.
