It was sent him by his grandson, Jerry Boblenz who is stationed there. The gas froze up here Friday morning, Dec. 13, it made the headlines in the servicemen's paper in Germany dated Dec. 15th, and was received here at Moravia on the 19th. yours truly, and Merv and Marie Ellison skipped a bit of the miserable icy conditions that prevailed over this area during the holidays.

The sojourn was enjoyable, with some shirt-sleeve sunshine at brief periods, but generally it was cloudy and cool, but quite different than was being experienced here at home. One of the main interests was visiting the Ellison's son, Ronnie, stationed at the Presidio in San Francisco, Calif. His duties involves handling servicemen's APO mail in the San Francisco postoffice. He was able to get a weekend pass and we all enjoyed touring that thumb their nose at society and its rules and customs, and choose to dress shably, let their hair grow uncontrolled they call them Gerald Vanctenberg of LovHia getting Qenfian Sbgpanl and Terrier puppies of George and Carls Monday morning. Mr.

and Mrs. Robert Davison were shopping in CenterviBe. Saturday and visited her mother, Mrs. Atweii inthe hospital. Mr.

and Mrs. BUI Moore and family were Sunday dinner guests with her parents, Mr. and Mra. Theodore Henderson. Mr.

and Mrs. Harley Sulser were in Centerviile Monday afternoon. Mrs. Mabel Moore and Jan spent Sunday afternoon with Mrs. Vera Moore.
