OCT. 5, 1f«0 !(• Start Oct. 31 IN Sai Antonio Guadalupe County citizens have been invited to attend the 20th Birthday Edition of the Ice Capades, starring an outstanding retinue of world's champion skating performers, to he held October 31 through November 6, in the Joe Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio. Heading the list of stars is Aja Zanova, twice world's champion, and Jimmy Grognn, also a world champion. Ice Capades will present performances six nights and four matinees. Scheduled time is K p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday night s show will start at 8:30 p.m. and Saturday at 9:00 p.m. Matinees Saturday and Sunday are at 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at. SI.50, $2.00, $2.50, and $3.00 and may he ordered by mail, % Cunter Hotel, San Antonio. Mrs. Vivroux Hosts Matron Bridge Club Mrs. Jap Vivroux was hostess to the Matron Bridge Club recently with Mrs. Jim Malmquiat, Mrs. Grace Laumann and Mrs. Matt Wheeler as additional guests. Mrs. Vivroux used Guernsey daisies In the decor of the home. During an Intermission of the games the hostesn served refreshments which consisted of apple pie, nuts an coffee. Mrs. Rosalie Osborne was high and Mrs. Malm- qulst held the low score. Gleuewinkel 4-H Club President Rita Glenewinkel will serve as president of the Seguin Junior Girls 4-il Club for the 1960-61 year. Other officers elected at their recent meeting were vice-president, Nell Mott; secretary-treasurer, Sally Glenewinkel; council delegate. Viola Jechow; and reporter, Judy Glenewinkel.
