Rev. Edwin Nettleton officiated In the double ring ceremony. The bride's parents are Mr.

and Mrs. Thomas Mares of Llano Quemado. The groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hemminger of Taos.

The church was decorated with 15 candle swirl can- deflabraa, summer and spring flowers, alstromeria, gladlolas and Iris daisy. Music was provided by Margaret Leach, organist, and Laurie Phelps, who sang Panls Angellcus, the wedding song. The bride wore a lace and satin gown created by Blljoy, fitted bodice, long fitted sleeves, a peplum attached to a tight fitted skirt with a front slit, a detachable cathedral train with a heavily beaded Camelot cap with a pouf and three-tier veil. She carried a bouquet of nine pink roses, baby's breath and status. The matrons of honor were Wendy Fiona Mares of Llano Quemado, the bride's sister, and Virginia Medina, the bride's aunt.

Bridesmaids were Yolanda Ballon of Taos, the bride's sister, Rosemary Jaramillo, the groom's sister, Jessica Herrera, the bride's cousin, Kathy Esquibel, the groom's cousin, and Ruby Ann Abeyta Good, a friend of the bride and groom. The bridesmaids wore deep royal blue satin full length dresses and carried white long- stemmed roses. A wedding dance and reception was held at Floyd's Lounge. Music was provided by the Lopezes of Penasco. The Grand March was led by Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Trujillo of Ranchos de Taos, friends of the family.
