History Lesson Morrill Lynch has always had the reputation of being ready, willing, and able, to help the email investor. That's a reputation we're proud of, but it is one that lias, on occasion, been misinterpreted misinterpreted to mean that we weren't ready, willing, and able to help the big inestor or speculator.

Nothing could be farther from the truth. Vie neither love Home more nor Caesar lessv We love them both alike Home ancf Caesar big account and little account. When this firm was first put together, it was our aim to provide the finest services' and facilities that any broker could hac for the handling of customers' business. As things were then, that meant the handling of good sized accounts, because in those days there weren't as many small investors. That's where our second objective took shape.

If we had have the finest facilities we could get for the handling of big accounts, why not make Ihcse same facilities available to the smaller investor? It was something we know we could do without overtaxing our equipment. And it was something we felt we ought to do, because it seemed important to us that more and more people have an ownership interest in our American business a) stem. We still feel the same way. Vie still operate the same way. We still have the same basic objectivr to provide the finc facilities and rxiirs can for both the big account and the small account.

May we incite ou to put us to the test whether your investment pioblem is measured in hundred of dollars or hundrids of thousands. Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner Smith Inc.
