CALENDAR OF EVENTS Thursday, May 25th o'clock Magnolia Wives Club will hold a picnic covered dish supper in the home of Mrs. M. E. Bay, 2023 Belclaire Circle W. Other Magnolia wives, not members of the club and their husbands, are invited to attend.

Guests are asked to phone cither Mrs. Bay at TR4-3247, or Mrs. J. R. Black, TR4-7669.

1:00 o'clock P. Music study club, Allen studio, will be presented in recital at Kinsloe House. The Senior Music Study club program will follow at 8 p. m. 7:30 o'clock P.

Corsicana Chapter of the National Secretaries Association will meet at Kinsloe House for installation of officers. A report will be given by Mrs. Anita Christie on the recent Texas-Louisiana Division Convention in Corpus Christi. Friday, May 26th 8:00 o'clock P. DeRusha's Kindergarten and School of Dance will present a Spring recital at Kinsloe House.

Cathedral Plaque Honors Lyricist LONDON, May 24 UP) Mrs. Dorothy Hammerstein, widow of Lyricist Oscar Hammerstein, unveiled a plaque to his memory in Southwark Cathedral to day.

The service was attended by about 30 members of the London cast of "The Sound of Music," the last work written by Hammerstein in collaboration with composer Richard Rodgers. Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers attended the ceremony. Much of the dedicatory serv ice was taken over by the cathedral choir.
