Winters and family will go to Burlington next Wednesday to attend the weddinp of Winters' sister, Miss Katherine Fesperman, and Jimmie Eanes, of Lexinrton, which takes place on Friday, the first August, in the Evangelical and Reformed church in Burlington.

There were six guests in addition to board mmbers. They were Miss Mariemma Henley, Miss Jessie Henley, Mrs. W. S. Harwell, Mrs.

John D. Patterson, Miss Rachel Morrisor and Mrs. L. G. Shulenberger.

The last three represented the Statasville club at the national convention in Boston last month, along with Miss Aderholdt, the delegate from the local club, and Jfiss Maie Stoner, a board member, was alternate. After serving themselves, board members and guests found places at the dining room table and two small tables. The attractive place markers were souvenirs of the Boston convention, and at each plate there were candies from the famous "Cotmtry Store," neear Wayside Inn, which the Ptatesville paftry visited on a side trip to Lexington and Cqn- cor-a, Massachusetts. While enjoying the delicious two-course supper, the group were entertained with incidents of the Boston trip, related by one or the other -of the "traveling five." After supper Mrs. J.

Ann Rhinehardt Is Crowned Queen Of Health An Iredell county girl, Ann Rinehardt, of Mooresville, route 2, was crowned 4-H Queen of Health Wednesday night at State College, Raleigh- The queen and the 4-H King of Health, Harold Langdon of Johnston county, were selected from 19 other blue ribbon contestants as the boy and girl with the most outstanding health improvement records. Ann has been active in polio, cancer, Red Cross and tuberculosis X-ray drives. She also led the Iredell 4-H clubs in putting in county fair booths has planned many healtE skits for her school. She plans to a nurse after high school graduation.

Crowning of the 4-H King and Queen of Health was culmination of the annual 4-H Club Week health pageant. JRalph Brown and Betty Anne Jarvis of Iredell county, made the honor clnb. Contest Local Farmers Enjoy Tour Of Northern States The Jredell county farmers who visited farms in New Jersey, the New England states and New York state last week, didn't spend all their time on. the farms. They did considerable sightseeing in the cities too. They werp in Washington the first night and the second night in New York City where bus driver, who was in New York, took them to E'adio City, the Empire State building and other points of interast.

They especially liked the homemade ice cream which the fanners served them, topped with maple syrup from his own sugar maples. On Wednesday night of last week the groupj visited Brattle- i boro, Vermont, and the next day they saw a typical Venront farm, on the side of a mountain. This farmer has an income $1,000 per -vnonth from his dairy herd and around $600 a year from has "maple syrup orchard."
