Indiana There doesn't appear to be much of a chance for a white Christmas around Indiana without a major shift in weather conditions. In fact, the holiday period should produce quite a bit of sunshine and warmer than normal temperatures.

Forecasters do predict a slight chance for some light snow in northern sections of the state Sunday and a chance for flurries north on Monday, but not enough to produce any sort of snow cover. Low temperatures tonight will be in the mid to upper 20s with highs Sunday in the mid 30s north to upper 40s south. Lows Monday and Tuesday will be in the teens north and 20s south with slightly warmer readings on Wednesday from around 20 north to 30 south. Highs Monday will be in the 20s north to 30s south, warming Tuesday to the 30s north and 40s south before reaching into the 40s north and 50s south on Wednesday. WASHINGTON (UPI) The National Labor Relations Board has dismissed a complaint against the Kroger Co.

over the closing of an egg processing facility at Wabash, Ind. The NLRB upheld a hearing judge's earlier decision in a complaint filed by Local 37 of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union. The union said the company refused to bargain about its decision to close the plant in 1982. "Although the respondent had once owned nine nest run plants, all except three had been closed down by 1980," the board said. "In 1980, the respondent closed its two other nest run plants because of the lack of raw materials at competitive prices, leaving only the Wabash plant in operation as a nest run facility." "Its supply of nest eggs was dwindling, and the outmoded nest run operation could no longer compete with integrated egg producers and operators," the NLRB said.

A nest run operation involves processing of eggs purchased elsewhere. An integrated operation includes laying hens. Merry Christmas Happy New Year To my family and friends.
