Earl Bachelder and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brandt were Sunday evening visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Perlie Cook near Frankville, A Missionary Fellowship was held at the Castalia Zion Lutheran Church on Sunday afternoon September 28.

Friends gathered to hear Ruth Rebelein tell of her experience as a missionary teacher in Nw Guinea. She also showed slides about New Guinea. A coffee hour followed. Homemakers Elect Officers. The Bloomfield Homemakers met September 23 for their organizational meeting at the home of Mrs.

Loren Koenig. Sixteen ladies attended the meeting Mrs. Loren Koenig opened the meeting with a devotional poem. Mrs. Roy Schultz, Citizenship chairman, gave a presentation on the flag.

Pennies for Friendship were collected. The following officers were elected: Chairman, Mrs. Wayne Timmerman; vice chairman, Mrs David Benjegerdes; Our Farm Bureau, Mrs. Leslie Mundt; Our Roll in Farm Bureau; Mrs. Mar vin Kleve; publicity chairman, Mrs.

Helen Green; and music and recreation chairman, Mrs. Leon Everman. Mrs. Vernon Koenig gave an interesting demonstration on mak ing, "Fake Flowers from Tissue Paper." Mrs. Earl Linderbaum and Mrs.

Loren Koenig served lunch. The next meeting will be October 13, at the home of Mrs. Orville Koenig. Thursday October 1:30 p. m.
