The Virginia Gazette (Williamsburg, Virginia) 6 June 1777, Page 2: Baltimore, May 27. Last week arrived at Sinnepuxent, in this State, a large ship from France, commanded by Capt. ______ Young, with the following valuable cargo on board, viz. 10,000 blankets, 10,000 suits of clothes, 10,000 pair of stocks, 7000 stand of arms, 12,000 gun locks, 4000 bushels of salt, 400 barrels of powder, together with a quantity of lead and other article, for the use of the Thirteen United States of America.
