Socialist Peace Meeting: 4,000 Hear Speeches in Many Languages
Fairly incoherent coverage of an anti-war meeting of Socialists in New York City attended by 4,000, with some number of counter-protesters. Speakers at the meeting included George R. Lunn, Anna Maley, Max Goldfarb, Ludwig Lore, and August Claessens. "The speakers were Americans, English, Irish, Russian, French, German, Polish, Italian, Hungarian, Yiddish, and Lettish. All denounced capital and the rulers of Europe."
