Ruedin and Downing Nuptials Miss Deletha Ann Downing became the bride of Gary Ruedin Saturday at 8:30 p.m., in the First Methodist The bride is the Churchier of Mrs. E. J. Hedrick of St. Louis and George Downing of St. Louis. Mr. Ruedin is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ruedin, 3509 Gary Ave. The Rev. Robert Simpson officiated at the ceremony. A reception followed in the home of the groom's parents. Miss Jean Nuzum, formerly of Alton, and the groom's brother, Homer Ruedin of St. Louts were the couple's only attendants. Nuptial music was furnished by Mrs. Edmund Fletcher, OTgunist. The bride wore a street length dress of satin brocade with 8 bell skirt. A crown held her shoulder length veil. She carried white carnations and pink rosebuds. MiRS Nuzum appeared in n printed silk brocade dress with A bell skirt and white jacket. She curried white and pink flowers. The bride will graduate in August from the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing, St. Louis. Mr. Ruedin received his bachelor of science degree from St. Louis College of Pharmacy this June. He Is employed by Honke Pharmacies. The couple will reside in Alton.
